How does this rum taste?
The Série Cyberpunk rum, distilled at Belize's Travellers distillery and released by Zéro Nine Spirits, offers a robust tasting experience at cask strength with a substantial 69.4% ABV. Limited to 288 bottles, this 2007 vintage rum is an exploration of deep flavor featuring prominent coconut, vanilla, and caramel notes. Users note its similarity to Foursquare's complex profile, complemented by well-integrated alcohol despite its high intensity. The rum exudes inviting aromas of toffee and woody undertones and delivers a rich palate marked by brown sugar and a toasted finish. Enthusiasts appreciate its dessert-like characteristics, though some find its potent strength challenging.

I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.

We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. Leather, varnished wood and pastry sweetness on the nose. The palate is very greedy with the same aromas. The finish is long. Very well-integrated alcohol, with no hint of high ABV.
Lots of Belize sweetness, plus wood, fruity aromas and light roasted and herbal notes on the finish. I like it a little better than its sister release, although only nuances really make the difference here. Also a successful selection.
