The highlight of the tasting for me. Really good, complex Agricole!
The nose is characteristic of an agrippino, while the flavor and finish are reminiscent of a sherry whisky. It doesn't have a distinctive funk, but it does have a rustic, light texture and a fantastic blend of flavors and notes. It has enough charm to appeal to beginners and enthusiasts alike. ------------------------------------- Nose: Half esters, honeyed grapes, sherry whisky. Bright and airy. After a sip or two, once it settles in, it reminds me of caramel and mango melon flesh. Taste: less wild straw and more clean, grassy flavors, like blanched vegetables. The characteristic notes are expressed in a natural way that makes it accessible to beginners. Leather, oak, and a hint of tobacco follow. Finish: At first glance, it is moderately spicy and plain, but it is reminiscent of Cognac, with a touch of grape freshness and a light and refreshing finish. Finish: A well rounded agricole.
Is in no way inferior to the other single casks
