“Wirklich eleganter Vertreter der Zuckerrohrsaftdestillate und das aktuelle Spitzenprodukt der Destillerie Saint Aubin, bevor Ende 2023 die Ablösung durch einen 20y zum 20. Jubiläum der ersten Zuckerrohrsaftabfüllung auf Mauritius erfolgt. Wirkt runder und natürlich älter als der 15y aus dem Jahr 2003, aber auch etwas langweiliger, deshalb sind für mich beide Rhums gleichauf. Preis selbst in der Destillerie leider jenseits der 300-EUR-Marke. Man sollte allerdings nicht vergessen, dass es sich um einen ungewöhnlich lange gelagerten landwirtschaftlichen Rum (Single Cask) handelt, der in Europa anscheinend nicht zu finden ist.”
