"75 points. Resembles a Clairin in the nose. 2nd tasting, same note. Alcohol is very well integrated. I still like the nose a lot, on the palate this rhum is too floral and (please donât stone me) way too agricole for me. There are some agricoles that I appreciate a lot but this one isnât one of them."
"Overall an Agricole that despite its intensity is so warm that you almost forget the high ABV that I tasted at the ExcellenceRhum very popular stand at Sweden (Stockholm) Rumfest 2024. It was first matured for 18 months in wooden casks and 12 months of rest in vats before bottled at its natural strength of 74.5% in just 279 bottles. The nose is complex and fruity with aromas of sugarcane, citrus and lime At the palate itâs intense, vegetal, warm and complex with flavors of sugarcane, lemon and licorice. The finish is long, warm and intense."
"74.5°, yet with superb fruit and exceptional alcohol integration. The passage through the casks has added an interesting complexity, while keeping the alcohol under control. The Bielle hallmarks are also clearly visible."
