Overall not especially much of Jamaican aromas and tastes, but very easy drinkable. Tasted this at a special tasting at Rum Cane Society (CRS) in Stockholm, which is the rum bar in Europe with most different rum bottlings. This bottling is a private cask bottled for the founders and owners of CRS. It’s first tropical aged for 4 years in former bourbon casks. Thereafter continental aged for 5 years in a 400L Ferrand oak cask whereafter it’s finally aged for 16 Months in a 30L Ferrand oak cask in Barge 166 floating cellar at the Seine. In nose, at palate and during the medium long finish there’s aromas and tastes that’s fruity, mostly citrus and sweet.
