Un rhum complexe et gourmand. Un nez sur les fruits, la réglisse, le miel, belle sucrosité. En bouche, ça part dans plusieurs directions toutes agréables et surprenantes : de la fraîcheur, de l'onctuosité. La finale est longue et épicée.
More classic bielle profile (compared to the 5-year-old), with fruit and flowers. I like it. Comparing the two, I'd say they're close (you can recognize bielle) and different (one spicier, the other sweeter) at the same time. It's hard to tell them apart...
Un Bielle au profil versatile et opulent, qui opère avec brio sa finition intégrale en fût de sherry. Le nez retranscrit les codes de la maison : un fruité riche, sur les fruits secs (pruneau), les fruits jaunes (pêche), les fruits exotiques et les agrumes confits, accompagnés par des notes pâtissières sur le nougat pour une rondeur optimale. Les épices douces, le tabac et le boisé toasté sont également présent pour soutenir la complexité olfactive. L’attaque en bouche se démarque par un magnifique fruité qui part sur la groseille, la cerise, le pruneau mais aussi la mirabelle et les fruits confits. Le côté doux et mielleux se frotte aux notes plus végétales et agricoles qui partent vers la camomille et le thym. Le fût de sherry fait son effet avec les épices et le boisé. L’alcool est très bien intégré. La finale est de bonne longueur, laissant planer en bouche les tanins, le côté agricole et le fût de sherry. On retrouve les épices (piment, vanille, muscade), les noix et les fruits secs (raisin) avec le caramel et les notes toastées. Une cuvée gourmande et expressive, mais à un prix élevé (même si cela reste relativement bas pour les standards de la région et pour cet âge).
