To Clarendon
"Needs quite some time to breath. Once opened up, the nose is pretty well balanced gravitating towards tropical fruits and a hint of honey-sweetness alongside herbal notes. Very nice on the palate with some sweetness and tropical fruits again presenting an oily texture."
"Strong Clarendon. Otherwise the bitterness predominates, but here everything is quite balanced. Nevertheless, of course, the usual dry tobacco notes. Compared with RX16692 Cadenhead 2010 Clarendon. This one stomps it into the ground. Nice, unique bottling."
"This is a strong Clarendon that needs its time in the glass. Even after ¾ of an hour, the alcohol is still clearly perceptible. But the spice (licorice, salt, allspice) and dark fruit are very present and clear. No Light sipper but great"
"#4203 Another local one from Singapore and this one (45-60 mins) is also pretty well balanced. Needs to rest as well before all flavours are there. Intense, fresh and fruity wit a bit of funk. The palate is warm and oily with less fruit than the nose suggests, but overall pretty good balance. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some tea and workshop notes."
