To Savanna
"The label promises Grand Arôme from Réunion. Neither nose nor palate have much to do with it, however, blind I would rather be with a high-proof, but little aromatic fruit brandy. Makes me little fun, I'm sorry."
"Riecht und schmeckt nicht nach Grand Arome/ Savanna. Sehr schade."
"Strange. The label says Grand Arome from Reunion. But there is definitely no Grand Arome in the bottle. A fairly neutral column-style rum with light chocolaty barrel notes."
"A blend like Ricci knows how to make, with two origins that respond well to each other without one overshadowing the other. Here we have a rather young Hampden with lots of very ripe fruit, accompanied by a more earthy TDL that should bring woodiness and roundness. A pleasure."
