How does this rum taste?
The Panama Rum, distilled in 2003 at the Varela Hermanos distillery, offers a unique experience with its cask strength of 65.2% ABV and a limited release of only 100 bottles. Produced from molasses and aged for 14 years, this rum presents notes of caramel, sweet undertones, and dried fruit aroma. However, users report the alcohol presence as quite dominant, overshadowing subtler flavors. This single cask rum, while intriguing, may not suit those preferring well-integrated profiles, as the alcohol and sweetness are significantly pronounced.

Unspectacular rum. Unfortunately no fruits, special taste nothing comes really trough. Generally to sweet for me. The alcohol isn‘t integrated well and is always very present. Due the sweet numbers of ABV and bottling age I expected a lot more…
Leider nicht mein Fall.
