“Die Nase startet mit Bourbon Vanille, Früchten und einem zurückhalendem Long Pond Profil. Tropische überreife früchte sind dabei, rote Beeren und eine spur Holzpolitur. Der Alkohol ist sehr präsent und sticht in der Nase. In Summe sehr ausgewogen. Am Gaumen dann zuerst saure Früchte dann mehr ins holzige und röstige gehend. Der Nachklang setzt sich genauso fort, die Fruchtigkeit verschwindet rasch und eine bittere Note kommt hinzu. Der Rum startet eher wie ein sehr guter ausgewogener Foursquare, erst am Gaumen wird die jamaikanische Herkunft deutlich. Der Alkohol ist recht dominant, ein paar Tropfen Wasser helfen und verstärken gleichzeitig die Holznoten und auch ein wenig die bittere Seite. Ein sehr guter Rum, für Long Pond eher brav und nicht in der gleichen Intensitätsliga wie z.B. Der Cambridge STCE.”

“Sehr würziger LP . Dunkle Früchte, Honig, Karamell, Papaya und Pfirsich ...leicht Pfeffrig . Schmecht und riecht sehr Tropisch. Alkohol finde ich persönlich in keinster Weise störend. Rum ca. 30min im Glas beim Verkosten .”
