#4704 20.04.2024 Relaxing at home after a long stressful week at work. Nose Round, light wood, spice, vanilla, berries, light cherry, faint smoke. Palate Wood, light honey, spice, berries, light medicinal, faint smoke, medium spicy, cinnamon. Finish Medium long, wood, cinnamon, berries, dried fruit. Draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass has light mind, faint rubber and light medicinal notes.
An incredible expression from start to finish; floral spiciness on the nose is met with incredibly complex fruit on the palate; lychee, pineapple and papaya play with rose and geranium. The finish is strong, unique, flowery and leather. Incredible.
Oh my. This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever tasted. Bursting with so many fruit — I can’t pick them all out sitting at the bar. The distinct flavor I pull out that immediately comes to mind is peach rings, and damn are they good here. It’s both light and complex with a medium long finish that reminds me of vibrant port or brandy, something with a little grape to it.
