How does this rum taste?
Bielle Brut de Fût is an Agricole rum crafted from sugar cane juice at the Marie Galante Bielle distillery, distilled in 2010. Bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 56.5%, it showcases woody, herbal, and fruity notes with hints of vanilla and citrus. Its profile is characterized by a strong, woody aroma integrated with floral and fruity undertones. While many appreciate its herbal, grassy notes and well-integrated alcohol, others find it a bit sweet or woody. The texture is noted for being oily, with a somewhat bitter finish. Calendrier de l’Avant RumX, jour 12. Un nez expressif avec des fruits inhabituels, mangue et litchi, des herbes amères et un côté fermenté. Un alcool et un bois bien intégrés. La bouche est baroque avec des arômes de vernis, de fruits, de bonbon, d’herbes amères, de douceur et d’épices, en particulier de la réglisse mais aussi du menthol très rafraîchissant. La finale est moyennement longue, sur les épices et l’amertume du bois. Un très beau rhum, baroque mais intéressant et qui donne envie d’en regoûter.
RumXmas 2024, day 12: First impression: French territories, aged Agricole. Time for some air. Starts with sweet fruity notes but also a fresh citrusy side On the middle and the back of the tongue I get the grassy vegetal notes of agricole A bit oily in texture with some bitterness in the finish that lasts quite a while. Again the agricole profile. Alcohol estimated around 55-57% 4 hours in the glass or so. I stand bij it, aged agricole. It’s rather elegant, the alcohol is well integrated by now, because of that I’ll say max 55% :wink: I lack experience in the profile to differentiate between distillieries. For the fun of it I’ll say Martinique :grin: I like it: 8,6
Rumx Adventskalender blind. An der Nase schöne frische Minze. Wirklich angenehm. Am Gaumen etwas honigartiges mit orange. auch menthol am Start mit einer gewissenschärfe, die allerdings noch handelbar ist. Hochklassiger rum. Echt gut.
RumX Adventskalender 2024: Nr. 12 Sehr schöne Überraschung. Ein Rum mit sehr fruchtigen Einflüssen. Gewürze und Holz leicht im Hintergrund. Alkohol sehr gut eingebunden. Samtig weich im Abgang. Ein bestimmtes Land kann ich aber nicht zuordnen.
