A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. The nose is darker than for "numéro 1", the alcohol is much less well integrated and stings a little. The palate, too, is a little too marked by alcohol, with a burnt edge spoiling the tasting experience. Otherwise, fine aromas and a well-made rum. Much less good than the "numéro 1" and the "10 ans fût de Madère" tasted at the same time.
A newcomer to pure Madeira rums, offering two rather interesting whites. This one is very floral. Cane takes the lion's share, with herbaceous notes. It's very hot, but quickly subsides. A nice discovery.
