An Gaumen und Nase mit deutlichem Sherry-Einschlag. Wirkt für die “nur“ 50% schon eher kräftig, der Alkoholeinschlag am Gaumen lässt eher etwas mehr Volumen vermuten. Gefälliger, wenngleich etwas wuchtiger Sipper.
Un autre rhum de l’embouteilleur suisse Origin r. Le nez présente une note désagréable de mauvais vernis à bois. Puis quelques fruits, fruits jaunes et une note de massepain. La bouche est plutôt douce, avec des fruits secs, un côté Sherry qui fonctionne bien et du caramel qui adoucit le tout. La finale est plutôt longue et agréable avec des notes poivrées et boisées. Le nez pêche un peu par son attaque de moisi, mais les choses s’améliorent avec la bouche et surtout la finale.
The weird nose, of woodpaint and dust puts this really of. The sherry cask in the mouth with its caramelly sweetness and the spices and leather at the end are quite good. But overall a flawed bottling.
