I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 46,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
This is by far the best and most balance 2007 C<>H I have tried. An impressive and really balanced run. A cracking nose, really well put together, strawberry and caramel. The mouth is surprisingly well composed, with light sour cherry and good caramel and rubber elements. The finish is long and light spice with tar and tropical fruits and peppery notes. It’s a really good rum, nearly a 9 out of 10 for me. Great Holmes Caye pick!
A beautiful ester bomb with tons of tropical fruit and buttered popcorn. Not just regular popcorn but the exact aroma of movie theater style buttered popcorn. It isn’t super woody and I love that. Even more excited to try DOK… someday
