Un rhum blanc de Martinique de bonne facture, avec de jolies notes de citron vert au nez, accompagnées de canne à sucre et d’un vent de fraîcheur à la fois végétal et herbacé. Un profil agricole sec, net et direct. L’attaque en bouche est végétale, axée sur la verdure agricole herbacée et la canne à sucre. De jolies notes d’agrumes apportent également leur lot de fraîcheur. On a une texture grasse et épaisse en bouche qui accentue la gourmandise. Un rhum plutôt ample et expressif. La finale, de longueur convenable, est plus sèche, épicée et poivrée, avec un peu plus d’amertume en fin de bouche. Zestes de citron et canne à sucre tentent de se démarquer dans cette finale. Pas un mauvais rhum, mais il ne se distingue pas assez face à la grande concurrence des rhums blancs premiums.
