“Un Mhoba High Ester très concentré. Le nez est focalisé sur les esters, les notes fermentaires et de décomposition qu’on retrouve chez les végétaux comme les champignons. Les notes herbacées et terreuses prolongent le côté extrême tandis que le fruité et la canne à sucre tentent de ramener un petit équilibre. Toutefois, et malgré l’introduction de fruits exotiques en bouche, ces notes végétales, fermentées et phénoliques restent dominantes sur toute la surface du palais. On a un rhum corsé, puissant et qui nous le fait bien comprendre. La finale, d’assez bonne facture, ne faiblit pas. Les saveurs restent les mêmes, et ce avec la même intensité. On a un côté sec, végétal et presque anesthésiant en bouche. Un Mhoba rustique et authentique, mais bien construit.”
