"An excessively sweet note that ruins every positive note this rum does have. The nose is pretty funny but gives alread an hint of the mouth excessive sweet. I've a feeling of sugar/caramel that reminds me of certain brands I don't like and that ruins my drinking experience"
"Aging after port wine gives this sample a sweet ( maybe too much) start and a beautiful roundness. Perfectly integrated alcohol where I would definitely not type ABV. I was intrigued by the density ( meaning viscosity) of this sample. I haven't had such a "thick" rum in a long time. Unfortunately it was more interesting than overwhelmingly good."
"The sherry was really annoying, it didn't taste like rum, it tasted like sherry."
"Surprisingly good, fruity & funky with industrial notes and many olives. The PX is not too present which I like, leaves room for the distillate to show it’s character. Not too wild and well integrated, even though it is rather young. Needs some water to tame the alcohol."
