"Une belle salade de fruit finement et élégamment boisé ! "
"Another slightly older tasting. Despite the relative low ABV this rum still packs a lot of flavours. Fresh, fruity and lightly dry with nice spices and well integrated wood notes. I love the cherry and floral notes. On the empty glass after a while i can get pastry like flavours as well as light smoke."
"8: The first nose is very well balanced between wood and fruit, glue. Taut with a lovely thread of pepper, the rum swirls around the cane, taking all manner of fruit in its stride. Dried apricot is greedy and a little tart, while mango and peach are mellow and mingle with melted tannins. With a little aeration, the fruit takes over. They are stewed and rustic, a little oxidized, a little vinous as in a Cognac, but with a beautiful vivacity. The rum doesn't lose its zest, it's fresh and seductive. With a little time, it adds thickness, chocolate, coffee and licorice and prunes to its palette. 9: The palate is equally balanced, though a little spicier than it appears. This is a very accessible Blend, but very tasty. The woodiness is resolutely greedy, sprinkled with sweet spices, then the red fruits keep its promise and invades the whole palate. Orange peel slightly numbs the taste buds, coffee, while mellow dried apricot spreads out and calls for other dried fruits like prunes or figs which add syrupeness. 8,5: The finish continues with stone fruits in brandy, with a hint of resin and a very round texture."
