It was distilled from Molasses and sugar cane juice and then aged for 2 years. The rum has an ABV of 47,1%. Nez boisé avec en arrière-plan des fruits compotés type abricot. De l'ananas également. Un fond de canne. Des agrumes discrets. Peut-être de la coco. Ça semble gourmand. En bouche, on retrouve la rondeur du nez. Le bois est bien là. La canne également. Profil sympa : c'est un peu léger mais pas dénué de puissance. Poivré. La gourmandise du bourbon et un rhum un peu gras. Belle découverte. Édit : je reviens sur le fond d'un sample de cette bouteille que j'ai gardé pour voir l'évolution avec une oxydation plus prononcée et je dois dire que cela lui réussit bien ! Les fruits sont plus marqués. Le bois plus fondu. Très sympa.
Déja grand merci a Vincent pour le sample! Un nez très surprenant. Des fruits confits genre cake aux fruits viennent se mêler à un coté bien épicé apporté par le fût. À côté de cela on retrouve la canne et une belle sucrosité. Un profil très atypique de la distillerie pour moi, mais plutôt plaisant. En bouche je retrouve plus ce à quoi m'a habitué savanna sur leurs agricoles. Canne fraîche, un coté végétal, mielleux et épicé à la fois. C'est un rhum bien agréable au final.
Danke an Vincent für das Sample. Beim ersten Schluck hatte ich eher den Geschmack von Weißwein im Mund. Für mich leider ein bißchen langweilig und etwas kurz im Abgang. Alles in allem nicht schlecht, aber ein wenig schwach auf der Brust. Ein paar Prozent mehr hätten ihm bestimmt ein bißchen mehr Kick gegeben. Im Nachgang finde ich ihn bitter und säuerlich im Nachgeschmack.
