“Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023 / Whisky Live 2023: Brings the heaviness and complexity typical of the 1994 profile of the Heavy Trinidad style, the long maturation is recognizable. Overall, in my opinion, already a little above the peak, moreover, a few percent are missing here to let the 94 profile shine in all its glory - therefore, the release in my eyes can not quite keep up with the absolute top representatives of the vintage. But what does that mean with tropically aged Caronis - we are still on the highest level.”
