How does this rum taste?
CRHUM No. 1 is a unique rum distilled in 1996 at Guyana's Diamond distillery, selected and bottled by Corman Collins. Produced from molasses with an ABV of 41.7%, only 197 bottles were made available, making it a collector's delight. This rum exudes aromas of raisin, prunes, and treacle, leading to a palate rich in dried fruits, wood, and roasted hints. Despite its mild profile, users appreciate its traditional Guyanese character albeit lacking in complexity due to its lower alcohol content. It is priced at a premium, appealing to both enthusiasts and casual drinkers who enjoy a lighter rum.

Atypical Diamond 1996 because of the huge reduction, but working well. A very nice everyday Guyanese that everyone could enjoy, no matter if you are geek or not
Eigentlich genau mein Geschmack.
