Un Foursquare classique et chaleureux. Dès le début, la rondeur du nez s'installe sur le caramel beurré sur sa tranche de pain légèrement grillé, accompagné d'un chocolat au lait et de fruits secs confits. La coco grillée est bien présente. Une note de poussière de bois scié. En bouche, de suite le fût de bourbon développe un beau boisé toasté et caramélisé, de la cannelle, un soupçon de gingembre qui passe par là. On retrouve le lait chocolaté et les fruits secs à l'alcool. Une finale épicée, suivie de senteurs de cuir de fauteuil au coin du feu et de boîte à cigare déjà ouverte. Un beau 16 ans d'âge d'un single cask bien ficelé.

Un excellent foursquare. Tous les marqueurs sont là, vanille, coco. C est chaleureux, une belle longueur. Beau travail de sélection.

Goûté au RF2023 donc dégustation sommaire. Un pur FS gourmand, avec son caramel sa coco, des notes vanillées/boisées mais avec du caractère tout de même.
