“Nose: the DOK dominates but the character of the rum from Panama is also noticeable. Overall, however, quite restrained. Palate: Panama is clearly more present here and not much of the DOK is noticeable. The alcohol is not optimally integrated. In the finish, the fruitiness of the Hampden comes through again very nicely. Nice interplay between the two rums! A very successful blend. Unfortunately, the alcohol is quite present, otherwise more than 9 points would be possible.”

“Successful blend - the DOK is of course tamed, but gets a successful counterpoint by the sweet notes of the Spanish style, which unlike the sherry finishes without the heavy fruit notes. Great addition to the high-ester spectrum, little insider tip.”

“Goûté au RF2023 donc dégustation incomplète. Dès le nez c'est très aromatique! Le DOK est bien présent, solvants fruits tropicaux bien mûrs, le panama apporte une touche pâtissière caramélisée. Hâte de le déguster en prenant le temps de l'apprécier.”
