“Un rhum hispanique brut de fût. On a un profil assez classique, avec une gourmandise chocolatée et caramélisée sur un fond boisé, épicé et toasté. Quelques fruits secs font également acte de présence. Un profil olfactif sec, simple mais efficace. En bouche, le côté sombre (boisé toasté) gourmand (chocolat, caramel) et épicé des rhums hispaniques revient en force, mais avec un peu plus d’intensité. Les 60,7% pourraient être un peu mieux intégré. L‘ensemble a un peu plus de caractère mais manque de profondeur et de complexité. La finale est relativement courte, avec une trame pimentée, toastée, boisée et caramélisée. Bien que pas mauvais, ce rhum tombe en désuétude de part son manque de consistance, et ce malgré un profil initial prometteur.”
