Un rhum fidjien très influencé par l’ancien fût de Muscat. Le nez offre une myriade de fruits exotiques (banane, ananas, mangue), suivis d’un boisé léger, quelques esters, des épices et de la douceur vanillée et caramélisée. C’est doux et avenant. L’attaque en bouche est très ronde. Le rhum est gras, huileux et très liquoreux. Le fût de Muscat fait ressortir les tannins, l’alcool et le sucre. Ce côté vineux dominant éclipse de facto les fruits exotiques qui se tapissent dans l’ombre. La finale, assez longue, revient sur les esters, les tannins et ses notes boisées, des notes pimentées et caramélisées. Les fruits tropicaux et les fruits secs viennent au second plan. Un rhum des plus doux et gouleyants, qui peut être un portail pour permettre aux gens de découvrir de nouvelles saveurs dans le monde du rhum.

Omg, I dont know if it is good or bad! First taste is like good guayana - leather wood caramel. And suddenly come pines ginger. And then both tastes start to switch in mouth.
