How does this rum taste?
Camikara Cask Aged Rum is an Indian rum distilled in 2009 from sugar cane juice and aged for 12 years at the Piccadilly distilleries. With a limited release of only 1200 bottles and a robust ABV of 50%, the rum displays a distinctive profile. The aroma is intensely fruity, featuring notes of papaya and maracuja, while the taste combines bitter orange with tropical fruit and a hint of spice. Although some find its bitter orange taste off-putting, others appreciate the unique blend of tropical and spicy flavors. A high angel's share hints at its lengthy maturation process in a warm climate, drawing interest from both rum enthusiasts and curious collectors.

Batch 02/2022
In itself a tasty rum but at 94% Angels share and 12y maturation time in India I would have expected more barrel influence. Overall, unfortunately, somewhat trivial and I recognize here no special DNA...
Too much column style for me.
What an Indian! Great tropical fruits. Mixed with spice. Almost not recognizable as Agricole at all. Nice product and highly recommended
