How does this rum taste?
Carib Sailer Rum, distilled in Jamaica from molasses and bottled by Caribbean Rum Shippers Ltd. Kingston, features a 40% ABV. Its aromatic profile includes woody, herbal, and banana notes, complemented by ester and light undertones. Tasting reveals a harmonious blend of woody, herbal, and tropical fruit flavors, with hints of yellow fruits and sweetness. Although appreciated for its historical curiosity, users note a slightly bitter finish, potentially due to caramel coloring. This rum is smoother and softer compared to traditional Jamaican pot still rums, resembling a column still influence. Overall, it's an intriguing blend for enthusiasts of Jamaican rums, offering a glimpse into past distillation styles.
