Valinch & Mallet Beenleigh The Spirit of Art 2007
Highly regarded as a balanced, funky Australian cask strength with fruity nose, spicy-woody palate and well-handled alcohol, though some find the finish short and the profile a bit restrained.
Fans of funky, ester-driven rums who enjoy dry, cask-strength sippers with a mix of fruit, spice and polish/varnish notes, and collectors chasing limited Australian single casks.

How does this rum taste?
Balanced funky Aussie cask strength
If you enjoy moderately funky Jamaicans but want to explore Australia, this Beenleigh offers a similar ester vibe in a drier, slightly more restrained package at a fair price.
Beginners or those sensitive to high ABV, anyone wanting a long, expressive finish or a clearly Jamaican-style funk bomb, and drinkers who prefer sweetened, softer profiles.

#4056 A pretty good release from Valinch & Mallet i think. The price is pretty OK and I have ordered a bottle because I like it. Well balanced and the wood isn't dominant and does well with the fruit and light polish/varnish notes. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some nougat and salty notes.
Alkohol gut eingebunden!
