#4334 21.10.2023 Whisky Live 2023
It is the 4th release of the 2003 vintage. This cask #1147 (2003-2021) is one year older than the previous one #1685. --- The nose is woody, fruity, and with aromas of pineapple, dried fruits, prune, orange, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, the start is tonic. I feel like I have bitten a lemon. It does not last long and is fairly agreeable. Then, it becomes sweet, woody-spicy, with flavors of candied fruits. The finish is rather long, with a notable persistent bitter afterstate.
