“This Agricole has been finished for 8-12 months in former Whisky barrels and that taste dominates totally in nose and palate. It’s first during the medium long finish that it tastes more like Rhum. Probably a great Rhum for Whisky lovers that want to look into the fantastic world of Agricoles.”

“Un rhum qui a bénéficié d’une finition dans des fûts de whisky français. L’influence du whisky n’est pas dominante et laisse place à un très bel équilibre. Le nez est marqué par des notes de tourbe, de fumé, de café, mais aussi d’épices douces, de raisins secs, de menthol et de fruits exotiques. Le whisky ne fait qu’agrémenter un profil tout en finesse. En bouche, la finition est au poil. Le côté empyreumatique et tourbé se fond dans le décor, avec des notes de fruits tropicaux, de fruits secs, de menthol et de pain d’épices. Un rhum impressionnant en bouche, profond et d’une intégration remarquable. En finale, le boisé fumé se dispute avec les fruits exotiques et les agrumes, sur un fond de cannelle et d’une pointe de sel. Un superbe exemple de rhum en finition de whisky, expressif, délicat et maîtrisé, qui ravira les amateurs des deux spiritueux.”

“Besoin d’un repos de 15/20 minutes avant dégustation. Nez intéressant, un peu moins d’arôme en bouche mais l’aromatique est riche. Finale toute en finesse sur le tourbé et le fruit compoté ! Un délice”
