I tried it again and added a few drops of water after a while. It develops again and becomes even rounder than it already is. Edit: Now that I've tested five New Yarmouth bottlings against each other and it "only" took 3rd place, I'm adjusting it downwards by 0.1 points."

"Not the typical NY 1994 ... as with all 1994s, this one is not really directly associated with THE typical Jamaica rum. Alcohol is well integrated. Very drinkable, I personally don't find the Oloroso finish too extreme or very disturbing ... I can also still clearly taste the typical NY genes. I like it ✌️"

"Not necessarily a huge fan of sherry finishes in rum. With the 94 NY this works quite well, however. The rum‘s DNA is still clearly noticeable. Sips very nice overall. Trying this side by side to non finished 94 NYs, the verdict remains the same. The finish is well done and adds a nice variation to the profile while preserving the inherent character."
