It was distilled in 1990 from Molasses with a Single Wooden Pot Still and then aged for 28 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This is a limited release and there are only 191 bottles.

Trotz der Verdünnung ein sehr intensiver und komplexer Rum! Mich würde wirklich interessieren wie hier die Fassstärke schmecken würde.

Nase: Frisch und kräutrig sowie Kakao, Schoko und Holz, gefällt. Gaumen: Eine Kakao- und Schokoladenbombe zu Beginn, sehr intensiv, gefällt. Kräuter noch nachrangig vorhanden. Es mischen sich Nüsse , getrocknete Früchte und Holzaromen dazu. Abgang:warm, harmonisch und sehr gefällig Fazit: weiß durch intensive Schoko- und Kaffeearomen zu gefallen, die könnten allerdings langanhaltender sein. Ein wenig zu viel verdünnt. Vor allem die Frische und Kräuternoten an der Nase heben ihn vom Rest der Vergleichsgruppe ab. Ein top Rum.
