Poisson Père Labat Blanc 59
Highly regarded white agricole: intense fresh sugarcane, grassy and vegetal with olives and citrus. Powerful yet surprisingly drinkable, especially in Ti’ Punch, and considered excellent value in its price range.
Agricole fans who like intense, grassy, olive-tinged whites at higher proof, especially those mixing Ti’ Punch and looking for strong character at a friendly price.

How does this rum taste?
Punchy, grassy Ti’ Punch classic
If you already enjoy Neisson or Saint James blancs and want something slightly rougher but great in Ti’ Punch, this gives you big cane, grass and olives at a bargain price.
Newcomers to rum or anyone sensitive to alcohol burn, and drinkers who prefer sweet, mellow, molasses-based rums over dry, vegetal agricole profiles.
Very mild aged Agricole, but still clearly showing its roots. Not as musty as the eight year old. Beautiful note of candied orange peel

Poisson Distillery has named their Rhum after Père Labat (Father Labat), a French multi-talented Dominican missionary that among lots of other things also improved the development process of Rhum with the introduction of Charentaise distillation, which is used to make Cognac, that made the Rhum more floral and round instead of sharp and burning.
#4045 After resting this one for a good time it's a really intense rum where the Agricole notes are stronger than in the previous ones. Lightly fruity with notes from standing in the meadows in an early morning. Light floral notes and the citrus is nice. Price to quality is very good.
A great white agricole ❤️
Probably the best white rum in this price range (20/25€). Strong and very vegetal, top in ti punch. Great classic.
