“Good sipper ... LROK gene still to feel.... nevertheless, the storage in the Oloroso barrel is too much for me personally .It does not destroy the rum completely but predominates yet very much .cherry,banana and vanilla arrive in the nose and on the palate ... quite ok but clearly too expensive”

“Gut zu trinken. Sehr rund und ausgewogen. Hat aber kaum Hampden-Noten geschweige denn sonst wie ausgeprägte Geschmacksnoten. Der Rum lässt einen mit einem angenehmen Gefühl zurück ohne irgendwelche Ecken und Kanten oder irgendwelche Wiedererkennungsmerkmale zu haben. Viel mehr darf man nach 2 Jahren kontinentaler Lagerung auch nicht erwarten. Insofern ein gutes Produkt. Woher dann der aufgerufene Messepreis von 135€ kommt, ist mir allerdings schleierhaft. So schön ist die Eule auch nicht.”
