It was distilled in 2004 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 58,9%. This was also a retaste and it only lost a few points. A very good release from Venezuela. This is a wonderful rum that may need a few drops of water. It should be resting for at least 15 minutes to even out the proof that you'll feel even when rested. I found that resting it for 30 minutes would release a lot of flavours not there after 15 minutes. A few drops of water turned it into a home run. Price to quality is very good.
Unexpectedly fun - probably the best Venezuelan rum I've ever had. Chocolate, vanilla, coconut, wood.
