How does this rum taste?
The Bielle 40th Anniversary Rum, crafted in Marie Galante, distilled in 2008, and aged for 7 years, is appreciated for its elegant and complex profile. Distilled from sugar cane juice using a column still, this cask strength rum (53.4% ABV) offers a distinguished aroma of vanilla, dried apricot, and woody notes, with hints of citrus and coconut. On the palate, it reveals a compelling blend of vanilla, citrus, grass, chocolate, and oak. While praised for its exceptional nose reminiscent of Barbadian and Agricole styles, the finish is noted as slightly short. Its balance and integrated alcohol content, along with a subtle Agricole character, make it a celebrated but rare find among rum enthusiasts.

Un bielle très élégant surtout au nez. Il demande un peu d’ouverture mais ensuite on a une belle complexité. Un joli vernis assez rare chez bielle que j’aime beaucoup. En bouche c’est relativement classique et très bon.
