“#4167 I have been through quite a few Mount Gays and the top releases are usually pretty good. So is this one. Fruity with roasted wood and a warm and lightly dry palate. Good balance between the flavours and ABV.”

“Der Rum braucht etwas Zeit um Glas. Dann hat er eine schöne Feuchtigkeit von Trockenfrüchten und Orangenschale in der Nase. Dazu eine Honigsüße und leichte Anklänge von Nelke. Unverkennbar Mount Gay. Im Mund holzig mit gerösteten Nüssen. Dazu etwas Karamell und zu trocken geratenes Bananenbrot. Das verkohlte Bourbonfass kommt mir insgesamt etwas zu sehr durch. In Kombination gibt es eine interessante, fast salzige Note. Der Abgang ist dann wieder deutlich gefälliger.”
