Herrlich Fruchtig und voller Ester ! Starker Hampden... mein Highlight der Messe in Nürnberg. Der wird ne Bombe im Mai Tai. Test im Mai Tai absolviert... 100% Empfehlung . Frucht und Holzigkeit kommen top zur Geltung 😀
Nose is clearly driven by notes from the cask with less intense fruit and ester notes. More complex less funky so to say. On the palate again very mature. Bringing some herbal notes to the table alongside fruits and notes from the cask.
Edit heute nochmal zu Weihnachten mit viel Zeit im Glas gehabt. Für mich einfach ein super Teil. Nochmal nach oben korrigiert Für mich persönlich einfach nur Bombe. Das erste mal auf der Messe verkostet und lieben gelernt.
Really a great bottling 😎 A fruity ester bomb with well integrated alcohol and barrel. A perfect dram to enjoy with your best friends🥃 The finish is quite long, dry, astringend (typical for the HE contingent) with lovely ester, fruits… just excellent!
