"Die Nase, die ist es…. Angenehm fruchtig, weich, mit einem Hauch von Weingummi, Marzipan und Keksen. Am Gaumen verliert er dann deutlich.. von Frucht kaum noch etwas wahrzunehmen, Gewürze und Holz dominieren. Eine leichte Bitterkeit von Schwarzteegesellt sich dazu. Der Alkohol ist top eingebunden. Der Abgang ist ebenfalls von Würze, Holz und Bitterkeit . Er ist sehr gut von der Spitzenklasse aber doch entfernt."

"Delicious Hampden! As I know it from some <>H, this also has a slightly green note that reminds me somewhat of plant stems. Otherwise very buttery and creamy, with pronounced notes of brioche and cookie dough. I personally like these aromatics a lot, and here they remind me strongly of some 2009 NYs. Nice bottling for the anniversary of TRC, although in my eyes priced a bit too high."
