“Nose is clearly driven by notes from the cask with less intense fruit and ester notes. More complex less funky so to say. On the palate again very mature. Bringing some herbal notes to the table alongside fruits and notes from the cask.”

“Ein schöner HD 2001, aber für mich nicht auf dem Niveau der besten HD 2001. Beispielsweise ist der 18 jährige TRC HD 2001 (RX 771) deutlich besser in meinen Augen. Hauch von Bitterkeit stört mich ein wenig. Preislich mit 169€ für 0,5 Liter leider auch zu teuer. Dennoch gute 86/100”
