It was distilled in 2009 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 61% and the mark is DOK. Nose was a bit subdued and underwhelming. Quite of saw dust. However palate / taste was intense : ripe fruits, pineapple, long lingering taste - very nice !
Love me some DOK! Blast of esters, accompanied by overripe tropical fruits and sweetness from the wood. Powerful but well integrated. Perfect last dram.
