“Dark and heavy on the nose. Wood / liquorice / some dried fruits / roasted (nuts). Similar notes on the palate with liquorice / dried fruits and herbal notes. Feels a little harsh overall - from the freshly opened bottle mind you. Similarly to The Nectar SV this is not unlike the beloved SWR profile from 2001. However, again with a twist towards more herbal notes overall. Side-by-side with both to come :)”

“#4492 03-04.11.2023 Den Danske Whiskyfestival. Again a special meet up besides the event itself because we think it's a bit too dull. Had a great time with friends again. My notes. Nose: roasted wood, raisin, anise, light coffee. Palate: oily, wood, roasted, anise, light smoke, herbal. Finish: medium to long, mint, wood, light coffee. Empty glass has licorice and a light caramel note.”
