Best ‘Ron’ ive ever tasted
The nose needs time, very little at first but then relaxes into PCP and campfire smoke. At first the rum underwhelmed me but with time and patience it comes alive. Cracking and unusual mouth, melon, tropical fruits and an edge of smoke, interesting and enjoyable. The finish is super sweet and borderline perfumed, with pear drops and more melon offset with just a hint of pepper. One of the most unusual Panama rums I have had the pleasure to try, look forward to more!
