“Liquid Paulaner Spezi!😃Very tasty, even if I would never have guessed enmore here, let alone port mourant. Very intense sweet fruity notes almost like a spezi (cola + orange). Keyword cola cacher!”

“A rum tasted at Rum Depot in Berlin. A sweet nose of candy sugar, marzipan and tart apple. The palate begins by expressing the acidity sensed on the nose, then the pastry side and a noble bitterness crown this beautiful evolution. The finish is clean, with yellow fruit and noble bitterness, and is quite long. The empty glass is on wood and marzipan.”

“#4264 16.09.2023 Whisky N Rum Show 2023. I didn't try that many rums on site, but I did manage to taste the last two ot the Last Casks. I still think they're too expensive compared to what you get. This one is nicely balanced and medium fruity with roasted wood and spices. The palate is oily with an added coffee note. Medium finish with light fruit and caramel. Draws really nice curtains in the glass.”

“Beautiful, deep color, very oily. Smells very good, somewhat spicier and more tart than the Gold. Warm, strong, very (too) round. I suspect that some sugar has been added here. Let's leave out the "a little"...🎃🎃🎃 Full-bodied and spicy in the mouth. Sweet.🙀 Long finish, slightly tart at the beginning. A very good, too sweet and very drinkable Demerara sipper. PLV 👎, the Rare Collection is simply in a different league.”

“Somewhat more intense than the second 98 Last Cask bottling, because overall rounder and more pleasing. Here, too, there is a lot of Demerara-typical aromas around oak, chocolate and sweet fruit flavors. Overall, however, the dilution is not an advantage here either. Pleasing, quaffable, but not a bottling that could raise the pulse of the Demerara nerd.”

“Der 2. von den 3 Last. Wieder ein wundervolles Alter, 24 Jahre tropisch. Nase: sehr komplex und dicht, fast etwas verschlossen zu Beginn. Tolle dunkel-süßliche, fruchtig-holzige und würzige Aromen. Hier wieder der angenehme süße Klebstoff mit Politur und Ahornsirup Tropisch, mit Kokosnuss und Papaya, dazu aber auch getrocknete Aprikose, dunkle Kirsche, Brombeere. Leichte Säure von getrockneter Johannisbeere oder einem Schuss Rotwein. Milchschokolade und ordentlich Vanille vom Bourbonfass. Sehr rund. 8,9 Gaumen: oh, interessant. Dunkel-röstig und malzig-süß, aber fließt der Rum in den Rachen, kommt ein säüerlich-spitzer und zugleich dumpfer Unterton, der etwas irritiert, sich dann aber doch lecker auflöst. Es bleibt nämlich Maracuja und Schokolade, Orange und fettige Pekannuss. Hat dadurch einen leicht speckigen Geschmack. Tolle Geschmackskurve, macht Spaß. 8,6 Hier passt eigentlich alles zusammen. Alkohol ist für mich gut eingebunden, die Aromenfülle gibt viel her, das Sample ist leer, bevor ich alles entschlüsseln konnte… die Säure stört etwas, aber das fällt nicht ins Gewicht. PLV passt.”

“(Erreur d'étiquetage sur les samples donc je ne sais pas quel 98 je goûte, le diamond ou le enmore. Le enmore est plausible, mais le diamond aussi 😅) Le nez est agréable : coco, vanille, sucre de canne cuit, fût, limite un peu de fraîcheur mentholée mis très légère. . Puis cela évolue avec l'arrivée des agrumes. En bouche c'est bien mais peu complexe et un peu amère au final. C'est ce qui l'empêche de s'élever au niveau de ses frères Sheldon/Albion/CBH qui sont nettement au dessus.”

“Nose is dominated by wood, leather and roasted notes. The long tropical aging definately showing some (dark) teeth here. On the palate this one is the best one out of the series for me. The darker and herbal notes work pretty good with the strong woody notes. Most complex expression out of the last casks.”
