How does this rum taste?
El Dorado The Last Casks offers a complex dance of fruity, gluey aromas with a touch of soapiness. The palate struggles to balance woodiness and bitter notes, revealing an elegant yet slightly underwhelming experience. A unique, if not divisive, Guyanese treasure.

“Third place within the new trio. The three rums are all well distinguishable from each other, each has a peculiarity. This one I felt somehow "off", as if there was something wrong with him or something was added to him. But you could also say, he has an unmistakable, strong character.Unfortunately, I can not say what irritated me so. I must probably taste again.”

“The nose is still the best part of this bottling... caramel, minimal fruit, wood and slight alcohol spiciness rise. The palate comes across as very thin and light, then wood, bitterness, spice and herbs spread out, likewise on the finish. Very late, some prune appears on the finish! finish! The whole seems quite unausgegoren”
