To Bielle
"Not a bad representative from Marie Galante, represents the classic profile. But unfortunately falls off a bit due to the dilution."
"Very interesting, spicy nose. Rather atypical for Agricole. After some standing time, however, the typical sugar cane associations come out clearly. Lots of candied fruit on the palate and an herbaceous, dry spiciness. The alcohol is very well integrated and the dilution makes the rum nicely accessible."
"A lovely, soft nose of sensual sweetness, spices and delicious fruit, with strong woody notes and aromatic herbs that scent the nostrils. Very fragrant and warm. The palate is very smooth, with honeyed, caramelized notes. The spices are warm, the floral fragrance fresh, and the cocoa, almond and woodiness unctuous. The fruit is more subdued. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is perhaps a little thinner, but prolongs the sweetness and mellowness of the mouth. There's a lovely structure between the floral, woody, sweet, fruity and spicy notes, it's coherent and complete. A very nice Bielle bottled by Velier."
"RumX Rarities day 10. A sweet nose with herbs, flowers, lots of vanilla, spices and fruit. The palate is equally sweet, with vanilla, spices, herbs and flowers, wood and fruit. The finish is rather short, with a pleasant Chartreuse note. A good rum that doesn't hit the heights, but with great drinkability."
