The Rum Artesanal Panama Rum PMD is a unique expression produced and aged for 19 years in Panama, then bottled by Heinz Eggert GmbH. Distilled from molasses using a column still, this cask-strength rum boasts an ABV of 58.2%. Interesting rum with a well noticeable Whiskey note. The combination of various notes, the ABV and Barrel is a great adventure. Btw the barrel and ABV is integrated very well!
Not my cup of tea, too medicinal/sweet
An der Nase zunächst gebrannter Zucker, Whiskey Noten die total untypisch sind ganz leichte Rauch Noten. Etwas Schokolade. Am Gaumen dann auch sehr untypisch eher richtung Whiskey, rauchig, tabak, Kakao, leicht bitter und streng.
Delicious Panama rum with an interesting whisky note. Creamy on the palate with burnt sugar and lots of cocoa notes. A rather alcoholic side emerges on the finish. Nevertheless, a nice rum for a cozy evening. After a little breathing, the (slightly smoky) whisky finish becomes more and more dominant.
