It was distilled in 2009 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. This weekend was very busy because I've been building a new shelf system for my 250+ bottles so my Saturday and Sunday tastings haven't been added :-) Price to quality is not too good.
Ein recht unkomplizierter Rum aus Kolumbien. Die Nase hat angenehme Karamell-und Portweinnoten vermischt mit Holz und Rosinen. Im Mund kommt ein süßer Antritt, der vom Portwein abgelöst wird. Würzige Holznoten werden mit Karamell, Trockenobst und Kaffee erweitert. Der Abgang ist nicht allzu lang und bietet würzige Holznoten wie auch Portwein, Tabak und ganz entfernt Cognac.
