The "Plantation Jamaica (Bardstown Fusion Series) (Belux Tour) CRV" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Maison Ferrand. It was distilled in 1998 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 22 years 10mo. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 49,4% and the mark is CRV. This is a limited release and there are only 126 bottles.

Le nez est subtil, bien fruité, je sens beaucoup la mangue, puis la vanille. Quelques notes de tabac peut-être. Ca a l'air assez doux. Effectivement, rien d'agressif en bouche, mais néanmoins une belle palette aromatique, c'est toujours fruité, mais plus sur l'abricot, la canelle et la pêche notamment. Une très longue finale. J'ai des petits retours de mangue au bout d'un moment, mais je remarque aussi le clou de girofle et le café, mais en très soft. Le finish en fût de Bardstown Fusion Series, un blend de bourbons, a dû considérablement adoucir le jus et ça le rend très abordable.
