"Un superbe blanc martiniquais. Beaucoup de finesse. Une canne très présente et un profil très végétal. Un zeste de citron marqué. De la rondeur et de l'élégance ainsi qu'une belle longueur. C'est une vraie réussite.."
"A powerful, almost brutal white rum, despite a slight reduction in alcohol content. The nose is very vegetal, with aromas of grass, artichoke, fennel, hay and pepper. This omnipresent greenness masks the sugarcane, citrus and spices that try to intrude on the nose. The greenness returns on the palate, even stronger and overshadowing most of the flavors. Only a few spices (pepper, aniseed) manage to cross the palate. This very simplistic profile leaves us wanting more, because there's not much more to come from it. Alcohol is also quite present, more so than on the Perle Brut de fût edition, paradoxically enough. The finish returns to the same profile, with a decent length. A rum that will stand out best in Ti Punch, the brown sugar and lime will give a little sweetness and greediness to this dry, intense profile."
